anything.

I'm almost 18 years old. Can I join?

Sorry, you absolutely need to be 18+ to join us. But don't worry. Buy the first ticket to Germany. You can be a 16 year-old beer guzzler there!

I have celiac disease. Do you have gluten-free/reduced options?

Yes, but let us know when you fill in the booking form. Dutchies are bionic. So gluten-free (or reduced) beers aren't as plentiful. Since we can't order half a bottle, you'll enjoy around 4-5 full portions of different varieties. And we'll make it up with other stuff along the way.

I don't drink beer? Can I still join?

You're absolutely welcome! Some of our most memorable experiences were with non-beer drinkers. We have other offerings like wines, local spirits, ciders and quality soft drinks. We do have a budget, though, which means no cocktails.

I don't drink alcohol. Can I get a discount?

Sorry, but we'd have to say no to this one. Soft drinks and non-alcoholic drink prices are comparable to craft beers. But you can still enjoy premium soft drinks, delicious snacks and the overall "gezelligheid" (cozy vibes) we provide.

I'm vegetarian/vegan/lactose intolerant/have allergies. Can I join?

We do our best to cater to your dietary needs. The Dutch are a meat and cheese-loving bunch. And we wanna feed you what locals eat. But remember this is a craft beer experience. Snacks are complimentary, but we'll do our absolutely best to meet your needs.

Vegetarian? Yes we can adjust it if we know beforehand. Vegan? Let's face it. Most Dutch snacks are meat and cheese. But we have nuts, pickles and potatoes. Lactose intolerance and allergies? We'll avoid milk stouts, nuts, eggs and anything you're allergic to.

Are the tours run in English? Do you do it in other languages?

Yes, our experiences are in English. If you're still reading, you're gonna be just fine! :) Anyway, the more we drink, the better we understand each other.

I'm a solo traveller. Can I join?

We'd hate for you to drink alone. Yes, you're welcome! However, we don't run tours for 1 (unless it's a private tour). So your reservation may be subject to a later enquiry by someone else, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking and refund your deposit if no one else books the tour you booked. If that happens, we'll discuss alternatives (like joining another tour). (If you want a private tour for one, please send us an email.)

Please email us if you can't find the answer you're looking for.

Is This For Me
Where and When

When do your experiences start?

Our public experiences start between 2pm to 4pm. Check out our calendar for the latest availability!

Where do you begin and end?

We normally begin at Dam Square and end in the lively Red Light District, but we like to change our routes sometimes. The exact meeting location is stated in your booking confirmation email. If you need to know the exact ending point, email us.

How will we recognize you? Do I need to show my ticket?

We don't carry umbrellas or signs that it's us, but just wait for us at the meeting point and we'll find you. We always do. And no you don't need to show your ticket, but it's always handy to have it in your mobile phone, just in case.

What's Included?

Are the food and drinks included in the price?

For our public experiences, it's all-inclusive. It covers all the craft beer tastings and snacks that we provide (including tipping our bartenders and includes damn taxes), as well as our extensive recommendations before, during and after the experience.

For private experiences, we have different models to suit smaller (like couples, triplets, etc) and bigger groups (up to 8 persons). Email us for more information!

What am I getting for the price that I pay?

For our current all-inclusive public experience, you get a carefully curated selection of awesome (some have won awards!) local craft beers (6 tastings) and a local spirit. Plus some delicious Dutch snacks you wouldn't dream of ordering. Also, lots of cool tips for more places to eat, drink, party, visit, smoke, etc. "Which sex show is the best?" and "Where can I get the best space cake from?" We have the answers. Just ask us!

What is not included?

Anything you wish to purchase on top of what we offer is not included. You're welcome to purchase extra drinks or food during the experiences. But bear in mind that we travel in packs, so you probably won't be able to enjoy a buffet at each location, unless the rest of the group is onboard, too. But hey, sharing is caring and we're all for it.

How do I pay for a tour?

We work with a booking platform called FareHarbor. When booking a public experience, you can pay using a credit or debit card. For private tours, you can pay via credit card or Paypal.

Terms and Conditions

What if I'm late? How late can I be?

Call your doctor. No, kidding. Let us know! We'll begin with an introduction which normally takes around 10 minutes. If you're not there by then, we will begin. Give us a call and we'll let you know how and where to catch up. But please note that it's your responsibility to be on time and to inform us about your late arrival. We'll continue the experience as is when you arrive. No refunds will be provided for no-show. You can read more about our cancellation policy below.

It's raining cats and dogs. Will you cancel the tour?

Darling, we hate to break it to you. But Amsterdam is a rainy city. Our tours run rain or shine. We say, "wij zijn niet van suiker gemaakt" aka we're not made of sugar. You. will. live. Just check the weather beforehand and dress appropriately. We'll be mostly indoors, anyway. If the weather is *real bad*, we'll let you know about the tour cancellation 24 hours in advance and you'll receive a full refund. But don't worry, it hasn't happened yet.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand sometimes, travel plans change. We do our best to accommodate your needs. This means that if you're not able to make it for the tour you booked, we'll always try to schedule you to another time. If it doesn't work out, below is our cancellation policy.

  • No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 14 or more days in advance.

  • A cancellation fee of 50% applies for cancellations made less than 14 days in advance.

  • No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance, or in case of a no-show.
